Mount Lawu is located near Tawangmangu, in the highlands of Solo. It is a nice hike for those who does not hike to often or a new to hiking. During this track you get to see views which are fabulous. It is possible to do the climb in one day, but as we don’t want to hurry and you need to have an really great condition if you want to do it in one day, we have chosen to stay camping overnight to be able to join Sunrise in peace.
